We need local sponsorship to ensure the event can go-ahead and be successful. But this is also a fantastic marketing event for local businesses?
Why? It can boost your reputation locally, in the press, online and via social media. A whole marketing campaign for very little outlay!
And it's for a good cause. The aim of this event is to raise money for a much-needed new ‘community hub’ to replace the existing community centre which needs expansion and renovation to fulfil the needs of our growing community. This year 10% money is also going to Birmingham Children's Hospital's new rare diseases unit.
Last year footfall was around 2,000 and this year we hope to attract even more people with a great line-up, fantastic food and our laid-back friendly atmosphere.
Be assured that we will promote the event widely, so that it is a great marketing opportunity for you. We have strong contacts with the local businesses, local press and radio, the local community, several community groups and schools and plan to market this event to its full potential.
Here’s the rundown of our planned publicity campaign:
Several press releases will be distributed prior and post event to all local press/TV/Radio/local magazines such as Stourbridge News, Express and Star, the Chronicle, Birmingham Mail, Birmingham Living/TVR/The Village News/Midlands Today, BBC Hereford and Worcester.
A programme will be produced featuring all the bands and sponsors and given to all people who have bought tickets free of charge (we hope to sell in the region of 800 - 1000 tickets).
Posters and banners throughout the village/main roads
Potential for banners at the event (subject to permission)
Presence on the website - some blurb about performers/bands will appear on the website, due to be launched this month.
Regular updates on HAGS Facebook group (which has approx 400 members) and our own dedicated Facebook group (Hagfest 2015)

Sponsor listing on tickets - (tickets will be available in main high-street shops and distributed via a sales team and local community groups).
